SBT50 November challenge

Live your Adventure
November seems to have flown by, and I have only just completed this layout with two days to go.

Despite the time pressure, I am very happy with this page. The sketch is quite different to what I would normally do...which is the whole idea of 'a challenge'...and I feel that this format is one that I will use again. So thank you to the amazing team at SBT50.

This page features another photo of my husband's cycling adventures. This time tackling one of the hills that is frequently visited during the Tour Down Under - Corkscrew Hill.

The background is the usual, texture paste and mist. The doily wasn't a true white, so it got misted as well. I have used some 2 Crafty chipboard, rubbed with gilders paste, some Scrappers Garden flowers - love these, with a few other bits and pieces.
Overall, very pleased with how this came together, and quite quickly in the end, especially as this photo has been on my 'to do' pile since April.

  1. Amazing page Carolyn! Gorgeous colours and design. It always amazes me the hills the cyclists climb during the TDU - they're difficult enough just in a car!! Thanks for joining us this month at SBT50

  3. Ablsolutley gorgeous layout. I am so glad you joined in this month. I agree with your challenge statement. I personally love challenges, really gets the creative juices flowing and stops us repeating similar LOs time after time. Thanks for joining us at SBT50 for Noevember.:)
